How’s That Again?

In the Nov. 15 Weekend Escape on San Felipe (“Margaritaville Deluxe,” Nov. 13), Jesse Katz writes: “More importantly, would it be worth dropping big bucks for my wife and I to fly . . . ?” Might be more importantly for he to invest a few bucks in English lessons. Or at least stay closer than a $24 taxi ride to the village on which he’s supposedly reporting. In September, we drove down, thoroughly enjoyed our stay in San Felipe beachside (Motel Cortez, $28 a night), had beautiful weather, ate well and reasonably (El Nido, et al) and will go back next year.
