SCHOOL: Harvard-Westlake
YEAR: Senior
SEASON AT A GLANCE: Just because the Harvard-Westlake water polo team doesn’t keep season scoring statistics doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to quantify Duff’s accomplishments. Duff scored 12 goals in two games against Long Beach Wilson, the eventual Southern Section Division I champion. He scored nine goals in a game against section runner-up Corona del Mar. Defensively, Duff allowed the players he was covering to score just 10 goals all season. He was also a unanimous All-Southern Section Division I pick and he was named the Mission League’s most valuable player.
THE REST OF THE TEAM
Gilbert Abramyan, Glendale, Sr., was All-Southern Section in Division IV. Brennan Bakke, Crespi, Sr., scored 71 goals and was All-Mission League. Joey Bennett, Crescenta Valley, Jr., was All-Southern Section in Division IV. Bill Bruininga, Royal, Jr., was All-Southern Section in Division IV and All-Ventura County. David Block, Westlake, Sr., was All-Marmonte League and All-Ventura County. Chris Driscoll, Agoura, Sr., earned Ventura County Player of the Year honors.
