Keith L. Salberg; Retired Ventura Canning Company Office Manager

Keith L. Salberg, a Ventura resident for 50 years, died Wednesday after a brief illness. He was 80.
Salberg, who was born in Sioux City, Iowa, moved to Ventura in 1944 with his wife, Helen. He worked as an office manager for the now-defunct Coastal Valley Canning Corp. in Ventura for most of his life, retiring in 1976, said his son, Jon Salberg of Ventura.
In addition to his son, Salberg is survived by his wife; another son, Richard, also of Ventura; a daughter, Janet Stevens of North Hollywood; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ivy Lawn Cemetery in Ventura. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Charles Carroll Funeral Home in Ventura.
