Collapsed Bridge’s Maker to Donate a New One

SEOUL — The builder of a bridge that collapsed here Friday, killing 32 people, said Wednesday that it will build a new bridge and donate it to the government.
Dong Ah Construction Co. said it plans to spend $186 million and use a Japanese design to build the new bridge across Seoul’s Han River to replace the collapsed one.
Dong Ah Chairman Choi Won Suk said his company will also donate $12 million to improve the safety of Seoul’s bridges.
