Countywide : Salvation Army Seeks Holiday Angels
- Share via
The Salvation Army is seeking businesses to participate in its “Corporate Angel Tree Program,” which gathers gifts for needy children during the holiday season, a spokeswoman said.
Participating companies receive a supply of paper angels, each imprinted with the name, age, sex and clothing size of a needy child. Employees select children to buy gifts for, then pass the presents along to the Salvation Army a week before Christmas so that they can be delivered by Dec. 25, said spokeswoman Pam Abrahamsson.
The program will run from Nov. 29 through Dec. 19. Information: (714) 832-7100.
