La Reina’s Anderson to Play for Stanford

THOUSAND OAKS — La Reina High shortstop Shane Anderson has made a commitment to play softball at Stanford, Coach Don Hyatt said Tuesday.
Anderson, who also took recruiting trips to Northwestern and Cal State Northridge, was named to the 1994 all-state team and was the Tri-Valley League’s player of the year. She set school records last season with eight home runs and 31 runs batted in and batted .384.
