FULLERTON : Five Security Cameras OKd for Parking Lot
- Share via
Five surveillance cameras soon will be installed in the downtown Transportation Center parking lot to deter crime and help police catch criminals in action.
Two cameras will record vehicles entering the structure and two cameras will record vehicles exiting. The fifth camera will record motion at a stairway.
Video will record onto 72-hour tapes and, if no crimes are reported in that time, the tapes will be rewound and used again, police said.
City Council members last week approved installation of the cameras at a cost of about $15,000.
