Foothill Upsets Wilson in Water Polo, 15-14

Brian Brown scored the winning goal on a penalty shot in overtime to give visiting Foothill a 15-14 upset over Long Beach Wilson, the top-ranked team in Division I, in a nonleague water polo game Monday.

Long Beach Wilson (15-3) trailed by two with 50 seconds remaining in regulation, but the Bruins scored twice in 35 seconds to force overtime.

With 1:30 left in overtime, Jeff Pflueger drew a foul and Brown scored the winning goal for Foothill (15-3), the fourth-ranked team in Division I.
