Market trends: Microsoft Corp. was the volume leader in Monday’s trading. Gaylord Entertainment Co. announced a third-quarter profit of $7.7 million on sales of $175.7 million, compared to a year-ago profit of $18.6 million on sales of $192.6 million. Income per share from continuing operations increased 16.7%, to 21 cents from 18 cents, on an increase in revenue of 9.6%. Gaylord Entertainment owns Opryland USA, which consists of the “Grand Ole Opry,” Opryland Park and the Opryland Hotel.
