Week 8 of the NFL was a big one for touchdown returns. Among the highlights:
* There were a season-high 10 defensive and special-team touchdowns.
* Robert Bailey of Rams broke the punt-return record with a 103-yard run for a touchdown against New Orleans.
* Tyrone Hughes of New Orleans set two records--most kickoff return yards and most combined return yards--and tied the record for most kickoff returns for a touchdown in a game.
* Detroit’s Mel Gray set the career record for kickoff return yards.
