Amtrak to Begin Camarillo Service

Amtrak trains running between San Diego and Santa Barbara will begin stopping at the Camarillo station on Lewis Road on Sunday.
The Camarillo service will supplement Amtrak stops in Ventura, Oxnard, Moorpark and Simi Valley.
Southbound trains will stop in Camarillo at 8:45 a.m., 2:40 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. seven days a week. Northbound trains will make the stops at 11 a.m., 3:25 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
Tickets range in price from $8 round trip to Moorpark to $34 round trip to San Diego. Passengers with Metrolink monthly passes can buy Amtrak tickets at a discount.
The train also stops in Van Nuys, Burbank, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Irvine and Oceanside.
