La Canada 27, Blair 0--Sam Paneno rushed for 114 yards in 19 carries and scored the game’s first touchdown on a one-yard run to lead the host Spartans (3-4, 1-1).
Defense sparked La Canada to a 17-0 first-quarter lead as the Spartans forced fumbles on Blair’s first three possessions. The Spartans also got interceptions from Matt Lievense and Adrian Gope.
Derrick Dyslin added field goals of 47 and 43 yards in the first half.
