NORTH HOLLYWOOD : Jewish Symphony to Perform Concert

The Los Angeles Jewish Symphony, directed by Noreen Green, will present “The Symphony Sings” concert Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Adat Ari El, 12020 Burbank Blvd., in North Hollywood.
The event will feature performances of Dmitri Shostakovich’s “From Jewish Folk Poetry” with the original Yiddish text and Michael Isaacson’s “Ezkerah/In Memory of My Mother.”
Guest artists include baritone Ira Bigeleisen, soprano Julie Groger-Kamenir, mezzo-soprano Karen Green and tenor Evan Kent. The concertmaster is Mark Kashper.
Tickets are $36 for reserved seating, $18 for general seating. Students and seniors pay $10. To order tickets, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to L. A. J. S., 8241 Quiet Hills Court, West Hills, Calif. 91304, with checks payable to Los Angeles Jewish Symphony.
