COMMUNITY COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Braun Sparks Golden West in Water Polo

Matt Braun scored eight goals for Golden West in its 20-15 victory over El Camino in a South Coast Conference water polo game Wednesday at El Camino.

David Touloumian added three goals for Golden West, which improved to 20-1. Jason Stanton had five saves for the Rustlers.

In Orange Empire Conference women’s volleyball:

Golden West 3, Fullerton 0--Christy Heims had eight kills to lead Golden West in its 15-9, 15-3, 15-0 victory. Golden West remains undefeated at 9-0, 5-0.

Riverside 3, Cypress 1--Kristy Boyd and Diane Waikes each had 10 kills for Cypress, which drops to 3-10, 1-5. Janice Dercott led Riverside (4-7, 3-2) with 17 kills in the 15-9, 15-6, 10-15, 15-2 victory.
