PRO FOOTBALL DAILY REPORT : AROUND THE NFL : Cowboy Linemen Are Questionable

Dallas Cowboy Pro Bowl center Mark Stepnoski has a sprained ankle and left tackle Mark Tuinei has a sprained right big toe and both could be sidelined for Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Cardinal strong safety Lorenzo Lynch has an injured foot and will be replaced by Andre Waters. Todd Peterson will again replace injured kicker Greg Davis.

Ed Cody, who played with the Chicago Bears in 1949 and 1950 and was defensive coordinator for the Oakland Raiders in the early 1960s, died Sunday of cancer. The Fountain Valley resident was 71.

Colt linebacker Jeff Herrod was charged with drunken driving and public intoxication. Police said Herrod, 28, had a blood-alcohol content of 0.15 percent at the time he was arrested. In Indiana, 0.10 percent is the legal limit.
Police said they saw Herrod driving over the yellow lines after leaving a restaurant.
