FLY SWARM: Two crop-eating cousins of the Medfly have surfaced recently--but not in Ventura County. . . . Now, officials are looking to expand the program. . . . “The community wins because they get money for access modifications,” said Glenn McIntyre, an Oxnard police officer who uses a wheelchair and helps oversee the program. “And people with disabilities win because they get more open parking spaces.”
