Knott’s Hears Overture From Ozarks: A landowner in Branson, Mo., says he has talked to Knott’s Berry Farm representatives about building an amusement park on 340 acres he owns in this Ozarks music mecca. “I have talked to them, as I have to other interested parties, but there’s nothing official yet,” said Marvin Motley. Until now, the only Knott’s venture outside Buena Park has been a licensing agreement that allowed the creation of Knott’s Camp Snoopy at the huge Mall of America in Minneapolis. Knott’s Berry Farm spokesman Bob Ochsner said Tuesday that he couldn’t confirm any expansion plans.
