Boston Chicken Opens 2nd Franchise: Boston Pacific Inc., an Anaheim-based subsidiary of CKE Restaurants Inc., opened its second Boston Chicken franchise on Monday on East Coast Highway in Corona del Mar. Boston Pacific hopes to open as many as 300 Boston Chicken restaurants in Southern California during the next five years. CKE Restaurants also is the parent company of the Carl’s Jr. burger chain.
