7 Killed in Fall Inside Power Station Chimney

LISBON — Seven workers fell more than 300 feet to their deaths Sunday while cleaning the inside of a power station chimney, a spokesman for the state electric utility said.
A spokesman for the firefighters who recovered the bodies said the men had been working on a movable platform inside the chimney at Setubal thermal power station, 35 miles south of Lisbon.
