Ventura’s Arts and Cultural Affairs Committee has a vacant seat that the City Council is looking to fill.
The committee reviews public art projects, approves cultural grants and advises the council on how to develop more cultural and artistic resources in the city.
City officials said applicants for the position on the committee should have “broad-based interest and experience in art and cultural affairs.”
Applications for the volunteer post are available in the city manager’s office at City Hall, 501 Poli St., and are due by Nov. 1.
