Police Seeking Couple

GARDEN GROVE — Police are seeking a man who smashed a window in his girlfriend’s home and possibly abducted her.
Garden Grove Police Sgt. Scott Watson said Cynthia Jane Melson, 24, has called family members three times to tell them she is OK, but that police are continuing to investigate it as a possible kidnaping after receiving reports that her boyfriend, identified as Joseph Ray McBath, dragged her to his car.
“We have not located her to confirm” that she is safe, Watson said.
