Merchants Sue Over Pay Parking in Dana Point

SANTA ANA — Two Dana Point merchants sued the leaseholders of Mariner’s Village this week, alleging that a pay-to-park policy has ruined their business.
Shop owners Peggy Pearson and Susan Finn claim the installation of parking gates in April, after 21 years of free parking at the popular seaside complex, kept customers away.
The suit accuses Mariner’s Village leaseholders Gary Bushman & Associates of violating the bylaws of the Dana Point Harbor Assn.
