Spate of Made-for-TV Movies Dominates the Schedule

The weekend offers a bundle of made-for-television movies, including today’s new “Father and Scout,” starring Bob Saget and Brian Bonsall, on ABC at 8 p.m. (Channel’s 7, 3, and 42).
Also premiering today at 8 p.m. is “Young Indiana Jones and the Hollywood Follies,” starring Sean Patrick Flannery, in the first of four original films based on the ABC TV series, on cable’s Family Channel. In tonight’s story, Indy meets up with Hollywood legends Erich von Stroheim, Irving Thalberg and John Ford.
Sunday offers CBS’ “Broken Lullaby” starring Mel Harris, 1 p.m. on Channels 2 and 8; “Vanishing Son IV,” with Russell Wong, 8 p.m. KTLA Channel 5; CBS’ “Cries From the Heart,” starring Patty Duke and Melissa Gilbert, at 9 p.m., and ABC’s “Without Consent,” starring Jennie Garth, at 9 p.m.
