TRIED & TRUE : Park Has Non-Scare Fare for Kids at Camp Spooky
- Share via
Even though Knott’s “Halloween Haunt” boasts hangings and horrifying mutants, that doesn’t mean you can’t bring the kiddies.
For the little thrill-seekers among us, Knott’s offers Camp Spooky. On Oct. 22, 23, 29 and 30, the park offers non-scare fare for children 3 to 11. Held in the Camp Snoopy children’s area from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (the scary folks take over the park at 7 p.m.), Camp Spooky features trick-or-treat stations, contests, a kid-sized maze, pumpkin-carving demonstrations and Halloween-themed workshops.
There will be costume contests, and children are encouraged to come tricked out in their Halloween best.
Camp Spooky is free with park admission of $28.50 for adults and $18.50 for children ages 3 to 11 and senior citizens. For details, call (714) 220-5200.
