FILLMORE : California 23 Lane to Be Closed 1 Month

Starting today, the northbound lane of California 23 in Fillmore will be closed from River Street to California 126 until Nov. 13.
The monthlong closure is needed during construction of the new $6-million Bardsdale Bridge over the Santa Clara River, Caltrans officials said. Bridge construction is expected to be completed by mid-December.
A detour around the area will direct motorists to River Street and Central Avenue to reach California 126. The southbound lane of California 23 will remain open during construction.
