A limited number of tickets are still available for the grand opening of the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza on Oct. 21 and 22, theater officials say.
The grand opening includes a performance by Tony-award winning entertainer Bernadette Peters and the Conejo Symphony Orchestra. A black-tie reception will follow the Oct. 22 show.
Only balcony seats are available in the 1,800-seat theater, at prices ranging from $50 to $75.
Peters is a singer and an actress who switches regularly from Broadway musicals to television specials and quirky, comedic appearances in movies.
The Conejo Symphony Orchestra will play Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy,” accompanied by a 200-voice choir.
Those interested in tickets or information can contact the Civic Arts Plaza box office at 449-ARTS.
