Council: Imposing an 8.5% Utility Tax

The present Covina City Council imposing an 8.5% utility tax (Sept. 22) after all members of the previous council were recalled because they imposed a 6% utility tax defies logic and common sense. But then again, logic and common sense usually escape politicians once they are elected. The hypocrites should all resign and the former council members allowed to return to office.
This is a prime example of when the cure is worse than the disease!
