Tolerance: Coverage of Religion Deemed Fair

I would like to personally thank you for the article titled “Soul Searching” (Aug. 4). Tommy Li and the other contributing reporters, Mathis Chazanov and Diane Seo, did their homework and presented the story from a professional, factual point of view.

The story was not preachy, as religious articles can be. There are differences in religion and beliefs. Understanding those differences breaks down barriers in society by allowing us to not just tolerate each other but understand each other.

As a Los Angeles Times subscriber, I look forward to additional quality articles like this.
