Sophomore defensive back K.C. Cullum of Crespi High will not play football again after suffering a broken neck in last week’s 26-24 loss to St. Bernard. Cullum, younger brother of senior tackle Kane Cullum, felt a twinge during a third-quarter collision.
The injury is not serious and Cullum is expected to make a complete recovery, Crespi Coach Tim Lins said.
La Canada High running back Ray Lee, the Spartans’ leading rusher (269 yards, three touchdowns) and receiver (19 catches, 142 yards), will miss the rest of the season because of a broken clavicle suffered against Hoover.
