Summa Industries: The Fullerton manufacturer of equipment and engineered industrial products posted a profit of $719,000, or 46 cents a share, for its latest fiscal year. That compared to a profit of $713,000, or 69 cents a share, for the previous 12 months. Sales for the year ended Aug. 31 were up 61% to $15.8 million from $9.8 million. For the fourth quarter, the company’s profit rose 10% to $233,000, or 15 cents a share, from $212,000, or 18 cents a share. Three-month sales increased 69% to $4.9 million from $2.9 million.
