Sprucing Up II: The Hyatt Regency Irvine, also near the airport, is completing its own $4-million renovation.
The 536-room hotel is redoing its lobby, corridors, two restaurants and meeting rooms.
A color scheme of taupe, coral, blue and cream will greet visitors in the lobby. The Ciao Mein restaurant, where Italian and Chinese cuisines blend, will receive a mocha-and-black treatment while the casual poolside Le Cafe will be done in green carpeting, white walls and rattan furniture.
“The renovation is part of our ongoing program to continually update the property to provide quality meeting and guest accommodations,” said Rod Schinnerer, general manager.
