St. Bonaventure 29, L.A. Baptist 22--Topi Sanchez scored on a one-yard run and then ran for a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter to lead St. Bonaventure (2-3) at Alemany High.
Sanchez rushed 30 times for 168 yards and scored twice. Teammate Steve Ruelas gained 129 yards in 18 carries and also scored on runs of eight and 14 yards.
L.A. Baptist (0-5) took a 22-21 lead in the fourth quarter on a 69-yard scoring pass from Robin Woo to Adrian Kaali-Nagy. Woo completed six of 15 for 132 yards.
