Countywide : Shortage of Vaccine Postpones 2 Flu Clinics
- Share via
A shortage of flu vaccine has caused Saddleback Memorial Medical Center to postpone a flu clinic originally scheduled for today. A Saddleback spokeswoman said the county Health Care Agency was unable to provide the flu vaccine in time.
Lack of vaccine also prompted the Cypress Senior Citizens Center to postpone a flu shot clinic that was to take place on Thursday. The clinic will now be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 10.
The Visiting Nurse Assn. of Orange County still has a sufficient supply of the flu vaccine, however.
Specific locations of flu clinics are available by calling the Visiting Nurse Assn. hot line at (800) 616-SHOT.
