Affinity Group Inc., which operates several membership organizations and publishes Trailer Life, MotorHome and other publications at its Camarillo headquarters, has agreed in principal to acquire the National Assn. of Female Executives.
The deal, whose terms weren’t disclosed, would add 200,000 members to the 1.3 million already enrolled in Affinity’s clubs.
“It’s a departure for us. Our other organizations and publications are aimed at outdoor enthusiasts,” said Mike Schneider, Affinity’s senior vice president. He said the group being acquired is based in New York and publishes a magazine, Executive Female.
Schneider said Affinity is headquartered in both Camarillo and Denver. The company has 135 employees in Camarillo.
