Sam’s Club Workers to Vote on Union: About 150 workers at Sam’s Club in Fullerton will vote Friday on whether they want to be represented by the Teamsters union. If the majority votes for representation, the store will be the first owned by retail giant Wal-Mart Inc. to become unionized. Arkansas-based Wal-Mart, which operates 430 Sam’s Club membership warehouses and 2,300 Wal-Mart discount department stores nationwide, has so far defeated all efforts to organize its workers.
