Pali Cafe Sorely Missed in Canyon
Sunday (Sept. 18) was a sad day for all of us in Silverado Canyon. The Pali Cafe closed. The Pali Cafe was one of the reasons we moved up here four years ago. It was a weekend treat for us to drive up to Silverado Canyon from Orange and enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the Pali. We enjoyed coming to a place where everyone was so friendly.
About 1989, we decided that if others could live up here so could we. Since that time, we’ve enjoyed two lifestyles--the hustle and bustle of city life during the day, but evenings and weekends are spent at a more leisurely and relaxing pace.
In the past four years, we have made many friends at the Pali Cafe. There’s still a real camaraderie in Silverado Canyon, but a piece is missing without the Pali.
