Burbank 21, Arroyo 14--Quarterback Jason Jonas scored on his second attempt from the one-yard line with 58 seconds to play to give the Bulldogs (2-2) the victory at Arroyo.
The winning score capped a 14-play, 68-yard march that took more than seven minutes. Anson Beck set up the drive with an interception.
Senior running back Carlos Baker was the mainstay of the Bulldog attack, carrying 18 times for 120 yards and scoring two touchdowns. He scored from six yards at 2:19 in the first quarter to cap an eight-play, 72-yard drive, and returned a punt 66 yards down the left sideline with 43 seconds left in the first half to give Burbank a 13-7 lead.
Jonas was nine of 14 for 96 yards with one interception.
