Redken Signs Up for Styles on Video System

Styles on Video, the Canoga Park maker of beauty salon imaging systems, said it has signed an agreement with Redken Inc. to provide equipment and services to Redken’s 8,000 salons nationwide.
The company declined to state the value of the yearly contract, which allows Redken exclusive use of a new Styles on Video interactive software and video system. The system allows beauty salon customers to pick from hair styles displayed on the screen, then view a photo of themselves wearing the style they choose.
Styles on Video provides imaging equipment to hair salons.
