CASTAIC — Law enforcement authorities unable to identify a woman’s body found last week along a winding, two-lane road here have released a composite sketch of the woman.
The woman is described as Hispanic, in her 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 165 pounds, with brown eyes and curly, shoulder-length hair apparently dyed auburn, according to Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Mead. She was found wearing a light green, short-sleeve knit shirt and blue jeans.
A passing motorist discovered the body shortly after 4 a.m. June 14 along Ridge Route Road in a rural area about 5 1/2 miles north of Lake Hughes Road.
Homicide detectives have examined the site, but no information about her injuries or the possible cause of death has been released.
