Brian L. Schoenle has joined the Newport Beach office of Kemper Securities Inc. as senior vice president for investments. He was formerly a vice president at Merrill Lynch in the private client group and, before that, a vice president at Smith Barney, Harris, Upham & Co. In addition, T. Michael Doheny was appointed vice president for investments. He was previously a senior financial consultant at Merrill Lynch.
