Gonzalez Paces O.C. All-Stars

Tony Gonzalez scored 29 points to help a team of Orange County high school basketball all-stars rally for a 92-84 victory over the Gold Coast team Sunday at Santa Barbara College.
Orange County outscored Gold Coast, 33-14, in the fourth quarter for the victory. Gold Coast, a team of players from the Santa Barbara and Ventura areas, dominated the game early and led, 46-36, at the half.
The lead grew to 62-44 midway in the third quarter, before the Orange County all-stars came back with the help of a full-court press and the inside scoring of Gonzalez, who is from Huntington Beach High.
Gil Gonzalez (Orange) and Andy Nieto (Marina) added 11 points each for Orange County. Tony Gonzalez had 12 rebounds and Nieto had nine assists.
