COUNTYWIDE : Schedules Available for New Bus Service

Route maps and schedules for a new countywide bus service are now available, transit leaders have announced.
The service, called VISTA, is scheduled to begin July 5.
One line will provide regular service between Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Moorpark.
Another will replace Interconnect, a commuter bus service linking Thousand Oaks, Camarillo and Ventura.
In addition, new routes will run to large area employers such as Camarillo State Hospital and the Navy base at Point Mugu.
The buses will run Monday through Friday, with fares ranging from $1 to $2 for a single ticket and from $31 to $50 for a monthly pass.
