Has your small business been turned down for a federal disaster loan? Haven’t even figured out how to apply for it?
The Valley Economic Development Center, through funds provided by the city of Los Angeles, is offering “Hospitals for Businesses,” free one-on-one counseling for business owners on how to get those loans.
According to a news release sent out by the center, about half the requests for federal disaster loans have been rejected and only a quarter of the applications that were sent have been returned.
The counseling sessions will be held in three locations in the San Fernando Valley: 14541 Victory Blvd., Van Nuys; Chatsworth Chamber of Commerce office, 21943 Plummer St., Chatsworth, and 19040 Vanowen St., Reseda.
For more information, call the center at (818) 989-4377.
