Douglas, Armstrong Combine for Legion No-Hitter

LANCASTER — Sean Douglas and Marcus Armstrong combined on a no-hitter Thursday as Antelope Valley South routed Tri-Cities, 13-1, in an American Legion District 20 game at Antelope Valley High that was called after five innings because of the 10-run rule.

Douglas, who just completed his freshman year at Antelope Valley, pitched four hitless innings, walking one. Armstrong allowed an unearned run in the fifth.

Eric Cole was two for four and drove in five runs for Antelope Valley South (5-1).

Teammate David Nichols had two hits and three runs batted in.
