German Sentenced for Desecrating Cemeteries

CONSTANCE, Germany — A court Thursday sentenced a man to 2 years and 3 months in prison for desecrating a Jewish cemetery, a Nazi concentration camp cemetery and a Holocaust memorial.
The defendant, a 24-year-old baker, was the fourth to be jailed in the anti-Semitic incidents near Constance on the Swiss border in October, 1992.
