Laser Medical Changes Name to Biolase

SAN CLEMENTE — Laser Medical Technology Inc. said it has changed its name to Biolase Technology Inc.
The new name will take effect Monday. At the same time, the company will be identified on the Nasdaq market, where its common stock is traded, by its new symbol, BLTI.
The company, based in San Clemente, makes and markets laser products and specialized materials for the dental and medical markets.
