WESTLAKE : Hospital Donates Space to Police
- Share via
For proponents of community-based policing, office space donated by the Hospital of the Good Samaritan to the Los Angeles Police Department is just what the doctor ordered.
Police officers from Rampart and other divisions will be able to use the space at 1254 W. 6th St. as a drop-in center to take crime reports, make phone calls and meet with residents and merchants without having to return to their station house. The center, in the Weingart Guest House on the hospital’s grounds, opened last week.
