Top Seniors in Softball All-Star Game

BREA — The county’s best high school seniors will meet tonight at Brea-Olinda High School for the third Orange County North-South all-star softball game, sponsored by Soroptimist International of Brea.
Woodbridge Coach Alan Dugard will direct the South, headed by outfielder Alison Johnsen, the county’s leading hitter and the Southern Section’s all-time leading base-stealer, and Mater Dei’s Candace Kollen and Huntington Beach’s Stefanie Noffsinger.
Canyon Coach Lance Eddy heads the North team, which will feature shortstop Nina Lindenberg as well as Los Alamitos’ Debbie and Carolyn Wilson, and Orange’s Chris Puccio.
The South won last year, 6-3.
Gates open at 6 p.m. First pitch is at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for minors.
