VENTURA : Donated Car for Sale by Nonprofit Center
- Share via
A nonprofit Ventura group that specializes in settling neighborhood disputes is offering for sale a rebuilt car that the former owner donated after the vehicle quit at the top of the Conejo Grade.
Nina Meierding), a Ventura attorney, gave her 1984 Toyota Celica GTS to the Ventura Center for Dispute Settlement. The center works with residents in an attempt to settle arguments out of court. Proceeds from the sale of the car will go to the center.
Various local businesses and mechanics donated their services to upgrade the car, including installing a rebuilt engine and a new car stereo.
Anyone who is interested in buying the car can contact the center at 650-9202.
