MISSION VIEJO : Hospital Offers Free Class for Care Givers

A free workshop designed to help people taking care of sick patients at home is scheduled for June 15 at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center.
Called “Transitions and Change,” the seminar is part of a series of workshops that are intended to ease the burden on care givers.
The workshop will be from 2 to 4 p.m. in Room 342 in Building 2 of the hospital, at 27800 Medical Center Road.
With advance notice, the Laguna Hills Adult Day Health Care Center will arrange free respite care to allow care givers to attend the seminar.
The event is open to people caring for family members, as well as nurses, social workers and other health-care professionals.
